This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Bharat Sky Limited is the data controller of the personal data we collect about you. Our registered address is C/o Renark Management Solutions Ltd, 4th Floor, The Docks 4, The Docks, Caudan, Port Louis, Mauritius. For any privacy question or request, contact support@bhaaratsky.com.
We process personal data in accordance with the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 and, where applicable, other data protection laws that apply to our clients.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we collect:
- Identity data: name, date of birth, nationality, identity document details and copies, photographs or selfies used for verification.
- Contact data: email address, telephone number, residential address.
- Financial data: source of funds and wealth information, bank account and payment card details (card numbers are handled by our payment providers, not stored by us), transaction and trading history.
- Profile data: employment, trading experience and knowledge, financial objectives, answers to appropriateness questions.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, login records, platform activity logs.
- Communications: emails, chat transcripts, call recordings, and correspondence with our support and partnership desks.
- Marketing data: your preferences and interactions with our content, newsletters and campaigns.
3. How we collect it
Directly from you when you apply, trade, contact us or subscribe; automatically through our website and platform; and from third parties such as identity verification providers, payment processors, sanctions and PEP screening databases, and Introducing Brokers who referred you to us.
4. Why we use it and on what basis
We use your personal data:
- to open, verify and manage your account and execute your trades (performance of a contract);
- to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money laundering, sanctions screening, record keeping and reporting to the FSC (legal obligation);
- to prevent fraud, market abuse and misuse of our services, and to secure our systems (legitimate interests);
- to calculate and pay Introducing Broker commissions where you were referred by a partner (legitimate interests and performance of a contract);
- to send you educational content, product updates and promotions, which you can opt out of at any time (consent or legitimate interests);
- to improve our website, platform and Academy (legitimate interests).
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where necessary with:
- regulated identity verification, sanctions and PEP screening providers;
- licensed payment service providers, card acquirers and banks;
- our trading platform, hosting, CRM and client-area technology providers, including MetaQuotes as the licensor of MetaTrader 5;
- email, live chat and customer support tools used to communicate with you;
- our auditors, legal advisers and management company;
- the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius, law enforcement and other authorities where required by law;
- Introducing Brokers, limited to the data needed to attribute and report on the clients they introduced (never your identity documents or full financial details).
We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside Mauritius. Where we transfer personal data internationally we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as contractual clauses requiring an equivalent level of protection.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account, identity and transaction records for at least seven years after the relationship ends, as required by Mauritius anti-money laundering and financial services laws. Marketing data is kept until you opt out. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request deletion where we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to receive your data in a portable format. To exercise a right, email support@bhaaratsky.com. We will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Data Protection Office of Mauritius.
9. Security
We protect personal data with encryption in transit, access controls, staff confidentiality obligations and regular review of our systems. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please also protect your own login credentials and devices.
10. Marketing
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting support@bhaaratsky.com. We will continue to send service messages that are necessary for your account.

12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version, with its date, is always available on this page. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email.
