How to open a trading account

Opening a trading account with Bharat Sky takes just a few minutes. This guide walks you through every step, from registering to funding, and explains what happens at each stage, so there are no surprises.

Before you start

You’ll need a few basics ready: a valid email address, a phone number, and a form of identification (such as a passport or national ID). Verification is a standard, regulated step that protects your account and your funds.

Opening your account, step by step

   Complete the short online sign-up form with your name and contact details, and create a secure password.

   Choose your account type

   Pick the account that suits how you trade, for example the beginner-friendly Cent account, or the commission-free Standard account. You can compare them on the Account Types page.

   Verify your identity

   Upload a photo of your ID and, if asked, a proof of address. This is a one-time check required by regulation.

   Fund your account

   Once verified, add funds using a supported method, such as a card, bank transfer or e-wallet.

   Download the platform

   Get MetaTrader 5 on desktop, mobile, or open the web terminal in your browser, and log in with your account details.

What to expect after opening

Verification is usually quick. Once approved, your account is live and any funds you deposit are available to trade. You can log in to the same account from desktop, web and mobile, everything stays in sync.

A quick word on choosing an account

If you’re new, the Cent account lets you trade live with very small amounts, so lessons stick without putting much at risk. If you want simple, all-in pricing, the Standard account has no commission. Experienced traders often prefer the tighter spreads of the Raw account. There’s no wrong choice to start, and you can switch later.
